SALA Exhibition 2017

A collaborative exhibition showcasing the artwork of artists living with disability...

'Together We Achieve', Community Living Australia's inaugural SALA exhibition, was a collaborative exhibition showcasing the artwork of artists living with disability. The purpose of the exhibition was to Community Living Australia's goal of creating a society of inclusion and diversity, by valuing and bringing together the many talents and contributions of people with all abilities, and reinforcing the importance of personal development through artistic expression.

Hosted at the Bridgewater Mill from the 3 - 7 August in the picturesque Adelaide Hills community of Bridgewater, the exhibition was made up of over 40 pieces of art from over 20 artists living with disability across the state. Community Living Australia hosted the official opening on Friday 4 August with over 80 guests including the Hon. Kelly Vincent MLC who officially opened the exhibition, a significant number of the exhibiting artists and their families all in attendance.

Community Living Australia's inagaural SALA exhibition was a great success, and we are looking forward to continued participation in the Festival for years to come.
