Respite gives clients an opportunity to make new friends, try new activities, relax and develop life skills. Community Living Australia Respite is available 7 days per week, with 24 hour support. We can also assist with emergency respite or transitional accommodation. Community Living Australia Respite facilities are available to people with a disability in South Australia. A nominal fee for service applies.

Myranth House is situated on High Street, Strathalbyn and provides 24 hour support for up to five people at a time. The house is fully equipped to meet the needs of all its guests. There are five spacious bedrooms, each with an ensuite, shared lounge room, dining area and outdoor entertaining area. Home cooked meals and laundry are provided as part of the service.
Myranth House can be used as a base to access a range of community recreation activities in the Adelaide Hills and Fleurieu Peninsula. Surrounded by rolling hills, picturesque valleys, tall gums and farming country, the charming historic town of Strathalbyn is recognised as one of South Australia's loveliest country towns. Home to many historic buildings and houses, Strathalbyn is the unofficial antique capital of South Australia. A 10 minute drive and you are amongst the award winning Langhorne Creek wine region or a 20 minute drive will take you to the Historic port town of Milang situated on the banks of Lake Alexandrina.
Strathalbyn is beautiful to stroll around with the River Angas emerging from the ranges and meandering through the centre.

Victor Harbor Guest House specialises in emergency and transitional accommodation for people with disability. This service is situated in Victor Harbor, overlooking the township, Southern Ocean and Granite Island.
Victor Harbor Guest House provides 24 hour support for up to four people at one time. The house is fully equipped to meet the needs of all its guests. There are four spacious bedrooms, shared lounge room, dining room and outdoor entertaining area.
Transitional accommodation clients are encouraged to make the most of their abilities, and gain increased self-reliance and self-confidence. Community Living Australia assist with training, resources, and information to empower you to maintain independence.
The House can be used as a base to access a range of community recreation and relaxation activities on the Fleurieu Peninsula.
The township of Victor Harbor is a popular holiday destination. Situated 80km south of Adelaide with southern ocean frontage, the township offers an enjoyable experience for everyone. The panoramic views of the rugged granite landmark bluff and the well-known Granite Island are stunning. Victor Harbor is lucky to have two famous residents; The Southern Right Whale who travel in packs and visit our shores every winter, and the little penguin (Eudyptula minor) the world's smallest penguin, and one of few penguin colonies to be so close to a city. The Victor Harbor Horse Drawn Tram is a nostalgic reminder of the olden days of this popular seaside town.

Our newest Respite service at Kingscote has four bedrooms with a large open plan lounge room, dining and kitchen area. Two of the bedrooms are also fitted with brand new mechanical lift devices to enable individuals with high needs the ease of transfer. The service provides 24 hour care and support in a safe and supported environment with each client treated as an individual.
Where do we start when it comes to the beautiful Kangaroo Island! ...just 45 minutes across the water on the ferry, but a world away! Think of an island with 509km of coastline and 155km from the East Coast to the West Coast. Pristine beaches, local wines & sunsets are on your doorstep. You could see sea-lions basking on white beaches, koalas dozing in lofty eucalypts and pelicans soaring over shimmering lagoons. Kangaroo Island is a pristine wilderness - a place that has offered protection to substantial populations of native Australian animals, a place of beauty and a place of escape.

Providing a home away from home in a supportive and caring environment, children aged 6-18 are welcomed at our Farmhouse where they are engaged in fun and safe activities. The Farmhouse has been built specifically for children with disability from the ground-up, with an abundance of educational toys and a huge accessible pirate ship playground. Support can be for as little as 2 hours or for longer stays dependent upon a family's needs. All staff have Department for Communities & Social Inclusion regular screening checks and have completed Child Safe Environment Training. The Farmhouse is licensed by the Department for Education and Child Development.
Pfitzner Close Adult Respite service provides a supportive and caring environment to adults with disability where they have an opportunity to make new friends, try new activities, take in local attractions, develop new skills, or simply relax. Located in the river city of Murray Bridge where Australia's largest river - the River Murray meanders through the centre of town. With numerous accessible riverside reserves you could see Pelicans flying and gracefully landing on the water, you could go fishing for the local Murray Cod or you could enjoy some of the other local attractions like the cinema or ten pin bowling!
Murray Bridge Facilities include doctors surgery, hospital, shopping, banks and cafes.
Emergency respite and transitional accommodation is also available.
