Community Living Australia is pleased to announce the release of an Independent Living Grant for people living with disability in the Adelaide Hills!
The Adelaide Hills Independent Living Grant is made possible through the generous donation of the Hills Disability Housing Inc. The grant will provide funding for successful applicants to support them to live independent lives. Two $1,000 grants will be offered twice per year.
Grants must be utilised to fund equipment that supports independent living and community inclusion.
All current Community Living Australia clients residing in the Adelaide Hills, Mt Barker and Alexandrina local council areas are eligible to apply for this grant.
Applications open: 1 November 2017
Applications close: 20 November 2017 at 5pm (ACDT)
Assessment: November 2017
Grant recipients advised: 1 December 2017
Grant recipients announced: 3 December 2017 and advertised
Applications open: 1 February 2018

If the requested grant represents only part of the total funding required, details of how the balance is to be realised must be provided. The balance could include fundraising, other grants, donations, and existing funds, volunteer or in-kind support.
It is expected that projects would normally be completed within twelve months of funding being received.
Successful applicants will be required to sign a Grant Agreement.
