Southern Metro Clients Attend Training Session with the Crows at Adelaide Oval!
Written on the 9 November 2017
On Wednesday 30 August, a group of clients and staff made their way to Adelaide Oval to watch an open training session with the Adelaide Crows, in preparation for the finals series of the 2017 season.
The group were buzzing with excitement on their way down to the oval. The group watched eagerly as the Crows went through a number of training drills. During the training session, the guys also enjoyed their lunch while taking in great views of the Oval, the planes flying overhead and the beautiful weather.
Once the Crows finished up their session, the group waited eagerly along the boundary for some autographs. By the end of the day 15 player signatures and lots of photos with their heroes had been collected.
Many clients and staff expressed that a highlight of the day was meeting Club Champion and past player Mark Ricciuto.
Paula Roberts, Regional Manager for Southern Metro, Fleurieu and Kangaroo Island, said 'This was a wonderful opportunity for our clients, many of whom are avid football fans, as it gave them a behind-the-scenes experience of all the work the Adelaide Crows do in order to make such great achievements in the AFL.'
It was an experience that will have our footy fans talking for a long time to come and that no doubt has left many of us feeling just a tad jealous!
