Community Living Australia Launch!

Written on the 2 August 2016

As of 1 July 2016, CLASS and Community Lifestyles (two respected, regional South Australian disability support service providers) will be known as Community Living Australia!

Both CLASS (a provider of services in the Adelaide Hills, South Coast, Southern Metro, South East, Riverland and Kangaroo Island regions) and Community Lifestyles (a provider of services in the Murray Bridge and Murray Mallee regions) have been providing specialised and high quality support services to people living with disability in regional South Australia for over 30 years, respectively.

Bill Rowe, Chairman of Community Living Australia reinforced this commitment saying; 'Community Living Australia has been formed by two proud organisations who had a firm commitment to working with and for people with disability and the local communities where they operated. Both organisations worked to ensure that all members of community had equal access and an equal opportunity to live a full life. Community Living Australia is no different and will continue to strive to meet these goals.'

It didn't take long for feedback to be received from clients, families and staff that they were enthusiastic about the merger and that they wanted the organisation to have a single identity that they could all belong to.

Speaking of the benefits of the merger and move to one brand Mark Kulinski the Chief Executive of Community Living Australia explained that; 'the merger has put us in a strong position to now be able to offer our values-based, holistic and personalised services to more people than ever before, helping them to live the life they want to live and to achieve their own personal goals.'

Now supporting over 500 clients and employing close to 450 staff across the state, Community Living Australia is committed to ensuring its clients and people with disability have valued roles in the community, the opportunity to accomplish their goals and the ability to realise their dreams, especially as the National Disability Insurance Scheme commences roll-out across South Australia.
