CLASS Servicing the Riverland
Written on the 13 March 2013 by Karen Goldie
Community Living & Support Services Incorporated (CLASS) is an organisation that supports people with disabilities, the frail aged and socially isolated to become more involved in their community.
CLASS was formed in 1983 by a group of concerned parents living in Strathalbyn, looking for recreational activities for their children with disabilities. Organic and steady growth of the organisation has seen CLASS now providing services in the Adelaide Hills, Fleurieu Peninsula, the Riverland, Kangaroo Island, Southern Metropolitan regions and now we are proud to add Mt Gambier and The Riverland to our serviced regions. CLASS still provide services to the clients that started their journey with CLASS in 1983.
CLASS is a non-government, not-for-profit organisation. The recent appointment of a Regional Manager of Client Services, Tari Wagland-McCarthy, ensures that all of our Day Options, In-Home Support, Accommodation, Respite and Transitional Regional services are delivered in a professional and timely manner and that all services are client focussed and undertaken with dignity and appropriate support. Tari states “my intention is to ensure that there are professional and skilled support staff available, who are able to maintain a level of service to clients that embellishes all CLASS values”.
You can meet Tari and our dedicated Team at the Disability & Ageing Expo. They will be more than happy to discuss your requirements and how CLASS may be able to assist you or a family member.
If you can’t make it to the Expo, you can call us on 08 8536 5800 or check out our website www.classinc.com.au
