2017 NDS Awards
Written on the 17 November 2017
We are thrilled to announce that Community Living Australia and two of its colleagues were finalists in this year's National Disability Awards! More specifically for the following categories:
'Emerging Leader' - Joanne Miller
'Outstanding Frontline Worker' - Neisha Henstridge
'Excellence in Engagement' - NDIS Readiness Campaign
'Excellence in Regional Services' - Murraylands Breakfast Bar Program
These awards were highly competitive and reinforces the increasing focus on outcomes and innovation being undertaken throughout the sector.
Not only were we finalists in four categories, but our very own Joanne Miller was presented with the Emerging Leader Award! Joanne was recognised for her outstanding leadership skills and the impact she has made to clients and team members in the short time she has been with us. More specifically, her championing of our inaugural SALA exhibition was noted.
It is wonderful to be recognised internally for the impact our work makes, but it is really exciting when this impact is benchmarked against the sector and highlighted as being one of the best! Congratulations to Joanne, Neisha, the NDIS Readiness team and the Murraylands team for their achievements!
