2015 CLASS QUIZ NIGHT!
Written on the 27 February 2015
Last Friday night saw us hold our Annual Fundraising Quiz Night with well over 150 people turning out for the event showing great support and goodwill within the community.
This isn't to say it wasn't competitive however! There were 22 teams on the night hotly contesting the quiz, with many of them desperate to get their names upon the CLASS Quiz Night perpetual trophy.
The quiz ended with a tie for first place between Class Act and Newtons Law, both finishing on a total of 104 points each. The deadlock needed to be separated using a game of heads and tails showing just how tight and competitive the night truly was.
Overall the night was a huge success and one we are particularly proud of. More than $5,000 was raised with proceeds going towards the great cause of establishing a Therapeutic Outdoor Recreation Area.
Thanking supporters who included David Dridan, Rosie Fischer, Watervilla House, Bunnings, IGA Strathalbyn, RAA, T&R Electrical, Victoria Hotel, Central Sports, Town and Country Computers and Electrics, Keith Bowler, Pethick Orchards, SipnSave, The Hive, RP Auto Spares, Strath Corner Bakery, Refresh with Amy Robinson, Barber On Albyn, AMCAL Pharmacy, The Good Food Company, Strathalbyn Post Office, Browse In and Save, Toffish, Carousel Bakery and a myriad of local wineries. CLASS is humbled by the support we received to make the event a success. The night couldn't have been made possible without the generous support from a wonderful cross section of our community.
